Hyperbole and a Half: Depression Part Two →
isay:
tymethiefslongerthoughts:
more-of-a-gesture:
I’m not the right person to say “wow, this is so accurate!”. That ain’t mine to claim. But damn, this a powerful post.
You might also want to read this post first if you’re a long-time Hyperbole and a Half fan rather than just tuning in now.
It’s like reading a diary entry about myself.
If you read one thing today, read Hyperbole and a...

No Great Illusion: Looking, by Shinji Moon →
Looking, by Shinji Moon
commovente:
Looking,
There is my white feather. Your pink moon. The way we coin the word beautiful with things
as small and misty as light / as transient / as fog. We love
solely the things that slip through us. Men. Chlorophyll. Meltings. All that stops at our skin and makes us beg for it to go further.
Driving home from Bard, we...

Hello Backpack Poll
I’ve been living in Chicago for 2.5 weeks and there are many things about urban dwelling I have learned thus far.
But the carrying your stuff around a city? I don’t get it. I’m lucky to have a walking commute, but there is an art form involved in lugging your stuff around that escapes me.
Here’s what I need to carry:
laptop
wallet
keys
flats for walking/ heels for...

Re: Loving It: What To Do If You Visit Chicago in... →
relovingit:
- I have one suggestion for what to do if you visit Chicago in April. Adopt a dog and spend all your time walking her.
I’m joking, but April really is a fantastic time to take long walks around the city, as long as it’s not raining. You can meander the elaborate flowers planted between…

hello life? it's me Chrissy: i hate rulebreakers →
ohheyychrissy:
More specifically, people that think rules just don’t apply to them.
Namely:
People who cut in line
People who go into the “express” or “15 items or less” line in stores with WAY more than 15 items
People who have a suitcase, computer bag, purse, two jackets and shopping bag as their “carry on” for a plane - that’s more than 2, asshole
People who zoom past a lane of cars...

Hello Keeping House
One of closest girlfriends is getting married and I had the pleasure (and pain) of attending her bridal shower where I drooled over all her fancy gifts from her fancy registry.
I wish I could throw a big party with lots of friends, booze and a registry for my move to Chicago and subsequent purchase of household goods.
Mostly the registry.
And I promise, no lame party games.
