Hello 2500 posts!

and August 14th was Hello You, Hello Me’s 2-year anniversary.

To mark the occasion, I perused my own archives. I laughed, reminisced, revisited joy, heartbreak, and realized that from Mazzy Star to Shia LaBeouf, I’ve put a lot of myself out there. 

From the surface not a whole lot has changed. Okay, so my education, job, living arrangements, friends, and hair colour changed, but I don’t think all of that matters much. What matters is the incremental change I’ve seen in myself. 

I’m stronger.

I’m also deeply grateful to the wonderful folks who’ve been on this journey with me. Your likes and comments make me feel less alone in the world, and I get just as much joy reading your posts as I do writing my own.

I think it’s fair to say this tumblr blog has been one of the most consistant things I’ve ever done and I don’t plan on abandoning it any time soon.
