Hello Music

Sometimes Pandora sends me a song that tickles my ears in just the right way. I tell myself this song, right here and now, is the song made for me. I will die if I don’t hear it again, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of my life.  

I scramble to the Pandora tab on my browser to check the thumbs-up button, ensuring I won’t lose this most perfect song forever, and then I discover it’s already checked.

Because I’m predictable, even to Pandora.
