Goodbye Texas,

I’m going on an adventure to Chicago; a job I couldn’t turn down and a new city to explore.

Excitement, nerves, and sadness too, I will miss my Dallas friends and family more than I can say. You have challenged me, helped me grow and given me a community where I fit for the first time in my life. For that and so much more I am forever grateful.

Wherever I go I’ll always love Texas

Absurd skills you have to develop in Texas: dressing yourself on those days during which the temperature when you walk out the door is 33 degrees and the temperature when you go home will be 70.

Fact.

Mastered.

Hello new pad,

this will be home in four short weeks.

Hello Texas, I love you.

Hello Texas weather,
“It’s gonna be a hot one” said everyone, every single day.

Hello Stately Sandwiches,

I’ll take one of each, but the Texas Brisket looks quite delicious (I know, I’m biased).
